Where it all began. By this point we had been pretty close friends for about 10 years. You could almost say we were best friends before we started dating.
We were officially dating for maybe three or four months when this photo was taken at a family wedding. This was well before any thought of starting our very own wedding business. But we have a life motto that every experience in life as a learning lesson and we certainly took lots of good and helpful things out of this wedding that we still talk about today.

Way back in the Christmas season of 2012…
pre-proposal, pre-wedding, pre-children, we were a fresh faced and larger than life couple that loved adventures and helping people.
While we were dating we were heavily involved in supporting an overseas charity. That year we helped organise a Christmas Photo Booth fundraiser and this is our romantic photo.

In the Winter of 2013 Jamie proposed to his best friend. Our proposal was a mixture of love, romance and hard work. Jamie had planned an adventurous day for Kasey. At 10am in the morning Kasey went out for coffee with a friend (later her maid of honour) where she presented Kasey with a package labelled “The Amazing Race”. For the next 7 hours Jamie had Kasey driving all over town searching for clues before eventually meeting together that evening for a romantic proposal.

We had some close family and friends around for the proposal that evening and celebrated in style……. with pizzas, beers and wines. The day ran smoothly and it ended up being perfect.

Yep, we had a pirate crash the wedding and introduce Jamie and the boys on stage. It was a nice serious moment with all the guests mingling and chatting together before the theme of ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ flooded the room and out came a pirate from back stage to introduce the boys.

Yea, that’s Jamie crying. As soon as Kasey entered the room he started welling up. It was a beautiful moment that showed the raw love between them.

Jamie often tells couples about this moment. Usually to encourage them to not worry about fighting your emotions and just allow these things to happen! Because it’s beautiful!

We had organised for a family friend to be our ring bearer. We spoke with his mother and said, we’re happy for you to come up with what ever you think will make him happy and excited.

We wanted it to be a surprise, and surprise it was. A Mini Superman came running down the aisle with rings in hand and delivered them in the best possible way.

All the love in the world is summed up right here for us. We were married in 2014 and have loved the journey so far.

In this moment, everyone was trying to organise the photos and adding their ideas in the mix about what we should be doing and how we should be posing and all Jamie cared about was his Bride……
Love Summed Up!

Our first born entered this world in 2015 and since then we have been so over the top proud and genuinely love struck in a different way because of him (and later because of the other two)!
We are so proud of our first born, he loves people, loves life and is one of the sweetest and most loving people we know. He is the best big brother for the other two.

The birth of our first child was a little on the difficult side for us. Kasey endured some physical complications during and after the birth but through a lot of support, encouragement, prayer, relationship building (from both of us) we got through that period and look back on it now with fond memories of the good moments.

In 2017 we were fortunate enough to give birth to a second healthy and happy boy. By this time we thought we were professionals at this whole parenting thing, but reality quickly pulled us back to earth.
We often refer to our second child as ‘The Hurricane’ because, well, you get the idea….. BUT, we wouldn’t have it any other way. He is amazing…. Seriously.

When it comes to parenting, there are a number of BIG things. Parenting has been the biggest joy of our lives, The biggest challenge of our lives, The biggest excitement of our lives, and the Biggest frustration of our lives. But with all of that being said, doing life with each other makes the highs and lows seem easily achievable and manageable because we know we have each others back through it all…. We love married life, it’s amazing!

Yep, we went for one more and in 2018 we added the final chapter to our little family. The little man that Jamie is holding is our youngest. He is our little shy boy who loves his mother and juice pop tops.

We are so grateful and blessed to be in this position where we have three amazing, healthy and beautiful children. We don’t take that for granted.

We love family.
Not just our small family of five but we love extended family and we love those friends who are pretty much like family.
We are proud followers of Christ and have had some amazing experiences in life because of that. We will continue to raise our boys with loving hearts, a passion for helping and serving others and a love for Jesus because we think that’s the best way to live.
